Entschuldige noel, dass ich so spät dran bin; i.d.R. vergesse ich aber zum Glück nicht, wo ich nochmal aufzutauchen gedenke.

Ich denke, dass ich durchaus verstanden habe, dass "swell" = anschwellen / aufbauschen sicher das bessere Verb im Kontext bzw. Bild ist, aber ich hatte und habe das Gefühl, dass es nicht kräftig genug wirkt.

Immerhin geht es hier "...against the vamp", eine, wie ich meine, starke Herausforderung. Genau darum war ich mir unsicher, ob es wirklich die richtige Wahl ist, ein Verb zu nehmen, was im Kontext aufgeht oder eben eines, also z.B. "rebel (to r. against)", was stärker ist, jedoch nicht so bildnah.
